Invitation for Bids (IFB)
MAINTENANCE OF TRAFFIC SIGNALS

The Ministry of Works, Transport and Infrastructure is inviting bids from eligible contractors for the Maintenance of Traffic Signal in the Apia area. Further details of the Scope of Services and list of Traffic Signals are in the Bid Documents. Eligible contractors are those registered in Samoa to undertake Electrical Engineering Work and having background knowledge and training in the operation and maintenance of traffic signals.

Bid documents may be purchased at the Ministry's Asset Management Roads Division Savalalo for a non-refundable fee of $100.00.

Bids shall be addressed to and deposited in the Tender Box at the Office of the Secretary to Tender's Board, Level 4, Ministry of Finance, Central Bank Building. Bids must remain valid for a period of 90 days after bid opening and must be accompanied by a Bid Security of $2000.00.

Bidding will close on Monday 27 October 2008 at 2:00pm. Late bids will not be considered. A Pre-bid meeting is scheduled for
Friday, 17th October 2008, at 11 :OOam at the MWTI Training Room, Savalalo.
