PURPOSE OF THE INFRASTRUCTURE ASSET MANAGEMENT PROGRAM (IAMP)

Enhance the economic, environmental and social sustainability of transport and coastal infrastructure assets, and to manage those assets, natural resources and disaster risks through an effective partnership with private sector stakeholders.

PROJECT DEVELOPMENT OBJECTIVE

Phase IAM-I - Vita1 Infrastructure Priorities and Strengthened Management
Period - January 1999 - March 2004

Phase IAM-2 - Investing for Sustainable Growth and Protection
Period - July 2003 - December 2008

PROGRAM IMPLEMENTATION PHASES

The Program is being implemented over a period of nine years in two phases as follows:

IAM-1:  Meeting Vital Priorities and Strengthening Management (1999-2003)
IAM-2:  Investing for Sustainable Growth and Protection (2003-2008).
