Minister Statement |

Talofa
lava and greetings to all of the Ministry of Works,
Transport and Infrastructure stakeholders and partners.
Welcome to our official website, which provides
information about the Ministry’s roles and function of all
Divisions within the Ministry of Works, Transport and
Infrastructure (MWTI). |
|
The launching of our Website was to comply with Cabinet
directive for all Ministries to have website by August 2008.
Having a website for the Ministry is to further promote public
information about the Ministry and the Government, and to take
advantage on the use of technology in the modern age.
In order to keep with the changing and competitive environment
we have today, the Ministry also needs to adapt quickly to
these changes and try to capitalize on the use of technology
or we will be left behind. I am glad that this task has been
achieved within the timeframe given by cabinet.
I hope having this website for the Ministry will improve our
communication and information sharing of public information
with our key stakeholders which includes Central Government
Ministries, line Ministries, contractors, and donors, as well
as members of the public who are working in collaboration and
networking with our Ministry. Our Ministry Divisions will be
readily available to assist any queries or matters you may
need help from us. The Website has all the details to of the
people to contact and to assist you all. They are there to
help you.
Faafetai,
Honorable.
